Abstract
Chlorocarbonyl isocyanate is a versatile reagent and finds extensive applications in the organic synthesis, in particular for the syntheses of heterocyclic compouns. This review updates its recent uses in the synthetic organic chemistry and describes its potentiality in the preparation of biologically important heterocycles.
