Demand for alternative therapy is increasing and more and more primary care practices are offering alternative therapy as part of their services. 'The intention of the NHS Directory is to provide dedicated easy access listings of all practitioners who, by a process of self-selection, have put themselves forward to work either directly in NHS practices or from their own practice on a referral basis.'
