Abstract

This article reviews recent administrative and court decisions regarding pregnancy and child care leaves. Current treatment of these items by school boards is illustrated by a sampling of relevant clauses from teacher collective bargaining agreements. The trend is toward more individualistic treatment of employees and circumstances.
