Abstract

The article describes attitudes of Hawaiian faculty members in regard to the effectiveness and representativeness of their faculty senate. The degree of dissatisfaction with existing conditions was correlated with a number of variables, including tenure, age, rank, union receptiveness, academic credentials, and academic discipline by choice of bargaining unit.
