Abstract
The article traces free speech protection for union members through legislation and precedents in the private sector. The author concludes that unionized public employees have less protection when they speak out on matters concerning their union than do union members in private industry. He advocates extending protection to the public sector via legislation. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
