Abstract
Illinois House Bill 1530, the collective bargaining bill for educational employees and employers, contains collective bargaining and impasse procedures that differ from those found in the laws of surrounding states (Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana). In addition to comparing the Illinois law to these states, the forms and notices required by the statute are identified and the number of first-year strikes compared to those of preceding years. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
