Abstract
A win/win negotiations process was substituted for the traditional collective bargaining in the CHALTA/DEO teacher negotiations in order to avoid hostile, adversarial bargaining and to use a collaborative, cooperative approach to solving problems and resolving conflict. The process and product results of the win/win process were evaluated. Analysis of the results indicates the participants were satisfied with both the new process and the products of their deliberations and are committed to the implementation of an ongoing win/win approach to conflict resolution and to the next round of negotiations. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 United States License.
