The aptly named Griffith's 5 Minute Clinical Consult alphabetically organizes more than 1000 clinical topics into a concise, user-friendly format. An ideal resource for primary and specialty physicians, the book compiles the expertise of more than 38 specialty consultants and 330 recognized clinical authorities. The array of medical topics is extensive and the organization is superb.
Major disorders included in the book are displayed in a succinct format that outlines information into easy-to-read headings. The categories are divided into the basics of the disease, diagnosis, treatment, education, medication, follow-up, and miscellaneous data such as synonyms, pregnancy and age-related factors, and ICD-9-CM codes.
