Abstract

The Internet is often accused of providing inaccurate or dangerous health information. However, other media also provide poor quality information. The evidence-based movement in the health field (EBHC) needs to be extended to the general public. We all need to develop the skills for critical thinking, evaluation of claims and risk assessment.
